Event Description

Are you a Property Manager placing tenants for other investors?

Are you a landlord?

Do you plan on being a landlord?

Is it possible that you might accidentally become a landlord?

Do you know all of the Fair Housing Laws that dictate what criteria can (AND CANNOT) be used to screen your potential tenants?

If not, then plan on joining ACRE during Fair Housing Month as we welcome representatives from the Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations to discuss Fair housing Laws including the new guidance with regards to Emotional Support Animals and Criminal Backgrounds.

Jay Dworen, a representative of the Pittsburgh Commission on Human Relations will join ACRE on Saturday, April 11h for a four hour in depth training that is meant to help landlords, real estate professional and property managers understand the requirements under the Fair Housing Act, as well as State, County, and City laws related to housing, and how to avoid being charged with illegal discrimination

Spend the time with us now and avoid spending time (and a lot of money) defending yourself later.

A Certificate of completion will be provided at the end of the training.
